  1. I always pour a diet softdrink on a battery terminal in my truck, if there’s some of that crusty stuff forming. Bubbles up and washes off with clear regular water. I rinse and dry real good, use that battery terminal spray, and then cover the whole shebang with some synth grease (or whatever grease is handy) to keep the water and such off of the terminal. My lil ol’ Ranger is a 99, still has all the original battery cable connections, and is on battery #4 since new, with about 325k on the odo.
